Kochia is considered a noxious weed in Pembina County, thus landowners are required to eradicate or control the spread of the plant.

Pembina County does offer the landowner assistance program (LAP) to help landowners with some of the cost of noxious weed control.  Please contact Samantha Diemert for information about the LAP program.
